It seems every manufacturer is using the Nurburgring to test and tune their latest performance cars. As such the lap times for production cars has become a way to show off how the latest cars stack up against each other. Battles like 911 VS GTR and Corvette VS Viper top the headlines of auto news sections as each brand tries to top the other. Well this video goes to show that on a track like the Ring a great driver, knowledge of the track, and a well setup car can go a lone way. The driver of this E36 M3 is able to match the times of some fast company. At 7:34 this old BMW is even with the GTR, Koenigsegg CCR, and Porsche GT2.
