Marussia Supercars B1 and B2 Starting Production
This is the Soviet bullet aimed at James Bond’s Aston Martin and based on the spec sheet and sexy curves 007 is going down hard, like full auto AK47 at point blank hard. Russian exotic sports car manufacturer Marussia Motors is starting production of their new B1 and B2 Supercars and kicked things of by opening their first showroom in Moscow.
Both cars are mid engine and rear wheel drive powered by 3.5 liter Cosworth V6 motors in 300, 360, and 420 hp variants. Which for a Supercar may seem underpowered by today’s standards, but the cars weigh in at a Lotus light 2,425lbs. Making the cars capable of 0-60 in 3.2 sec, definitely Supercar quick. Priced at 100k Euros($131k US) the order list is quite full and Marussia Motors is predicting production numbers of 10,000 units per year by 2014.
